Tyto Athene is searching for an Electronics Technician I to support our law enforcement customer in Quantico, VA.

Responsibilities:

• The Electronics Technician I will provide automotive industry research and survey support and is able to utilize a background of experience to make recommendations regarding associated automotive focused technologies.

• Interact with automotive vendors.
• Research the availability of vehicles that meet project and mission set requirements and coordinate associated logistics functions.
• Assist with the regularly scheduled training classes including; preparation, instruction, and clean-up.
• Ensure all assigned vehicles meet scheduled monthly inspections/maintenance requirements to include:
  • Coordinate vehicle safety inspections.
  • Perform monthly vehicle inspection sheet, identifying vehicle issues and mitigating them.
  • Transport vehicles to and from dealerships for repairs/recalls.

Required:

• Associate’s degree in a technical related field. In lieu of a degree, three (3)+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electronics equipment.

Clearance:

• Active Top Secret clearance and will need to have a current FBI CI Poly on file or will need to take an FBI CI Poly within 30-45 days of employment.

• Quantico, VA (onsite)
