Description

Tyto Athene is hiring a dynamic IT Policy Analyst to support our Federal Customer in Washington, DC.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements.

  • Provide expertise in change management and training support.

  • Provide organizational and strategic planning for a wide variety of technical and functional environments.

  • Provide expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.  

  • Experience developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and governance.

  • Ability to assess IT risks, recommend process improvements, and support audit or compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience analyzing and improving IT-related business processes and systems, including assessing impacts on governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to translate organizational IT needs and policy requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Experience supporting IT-focused change management initiatives, including policy rollouts, stakeholder communications, and user training.
  • Background in organizational and strategic planning within IT, technology governance, or enterprise operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis, and Technical Analysis as they relate to IT policy development and implementation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Clearance:

  • US Citizenship with the ability to Obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • DoD Secret Clearance (preferred)

Location:

  • Hybrid-remote in Washington, DC, with expected 2-3 days on-site per week
