Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Program Manager who will be responsible for overall mission-critical, hybrid /wireless network solutions for a US Army customer.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of task orders.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the task orders, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance.
  • Maintain the quality and efficiency of the TO, including both technical issues and business processes.
  • Empowered with full organizational authority to make binding decisions for the Contractor in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments.
  • Proactively monitors and alerts the Government to potential contractual, programmatic, and resource limitation issues before they impact performance.
  • Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program.
  • Coordinates Tyto members and Subcontractor Teammates in the delivery of customer requirements.
  • Supervises program upgrades as needed in accordance with requirements.
  • Manages resource allocation to meet contractual requirements (cost, technical, schedule) to include performance, quality, regulatory compliance, etc.
  • Develops the Program Plan with the team and conducts regular program reviews to report and track performance to the Plan.
  • Works with the team and customer to address and mitigate the impact of unplanned events (failures, realized risks, material issues, etc.) on the organization and customer.
  • Coordinates with Human Resources to meet objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Translates understanding of customer mission and objectives into company/account strategic goals; provides input to the company's strategic planning process and recommends/leads new business pursuits and/or possible expansions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Holds an active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience (within the last ten years) in the field of IT project management.

Desired:

  • Experience managing multi-faceted IT service delivery contracts encompassing network modernization, enterprise infrastructure, and operations support across geographically dispersed locations.
  • Two (2) years of continuous recent experience (within the last five years) managing U.S. Army IT projects with multiple CONUS and OCONUS performance locations.

Clearance:

  • Secret Clearance required, Top Secret eligibility desired.

Location:

  • Remote, requiring OCONUS and CONUS Long-Distance Travel.
