Tyto Athene is searching for a 911 Project Manager with expertise in public safety environments to join our dynamic team supporting our Enterprise NG9-1-1 solution supporting customer’s Public Service Answering Points (PSAP) across CONUS, Hawaii, and Guam. Technical knowledge of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) systems, vendor coordination, stakeholder engagement with executives and agencies, and the ability to manage project teams and budgets to deliver the system on time and within scope.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complex implementation of an Emergency Services IP network (ESInet) to replace legacy systems.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure the successful deployment of the ESInet.
• Provide project management expertise to technical teams working on the development and engineering of the ESInet and NG9-1-1 systems, including custom configurations and technical specifications
• Oversee the implementation of the state-level ESInet infrastructure and the migration of Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) from the current Enhanced 9-1-1 (E9-1-1) system to the new ESInet. 
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, government agencies, telecommunications vendors, and technical staff
• Coordinate activities with telecommunications vendors and manage relationships to ensure successful system integration

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a 9-1-1 or public safety setting is required.
• Significant experience in managing emergency communications networks and large-scale emergency services technology projects. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to senior management and interfacing with technical staff.
• Strong critical thinking skills to overcome project obstacles and effectively manage complex IT projects.

Desired:

• PMP Certification desired, not required.

Clearance:

• Secret Clearance eligible.

Travel:

• May be required.

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $100K-130K. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
