Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Enterprise Architecture to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive enterprise architecture frameworks and documentation
  • Create IT rules, standards, and requirements for baseline and target architectures
  • Design business, systems, and information processes that align with organizational mission objectives
  • Establish architectural governance processes and review boards
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, models, and repositories
  • Assess and integrate emerging technologies to enhance organizational performance
  • Conduct technology evaluations and provide recommendations for IT investments
  • Support Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency
  • Develop technology roadmaps aligned with strategic goals and mission requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 8+ years of professional experience in enterprise architecture, systems architecture, or systems engineering
  • 5+ years experience working with DoD frameworks, standards, and methodologies
  • 3+ years experience with UAF, DoDAF, or similar architectural frameworks
  • Utilize Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) methodologies
  • Implement Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tools
  • Ensure architectural compliance with DoD standards, regulations, and policies
  • Support Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and other government frameworks
  • Maintain traceability between business requirements and technical implementations
  • Develop integration strategies for legacy and modern systems
  • Support service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices implementations
  • Design solutions for air-gapped and classified environment

Desired:

  • Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, FEA)
  • Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) in government environments
  • Experience with architectural modeling tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect, IBM Rational, MagicDraw)
  • TOGAF 9/10 Enterprise Practioner Certified
  • International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) certifications
  • CISSP, ISSAP, ISSEP certification
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

Clearance:

  • Top Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

  • DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or higher
