Tyto Athene is searching for a Mission Assurance Specialist - Journeyman to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the development and execution of mission assurance plans, polocies  
• Conducts risk assessments and support mitigation planning of mission critical systems and infrastructure 
• Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure the integration of mission assurance principles into operational and contingency plans  
• Assists in continuity planning, exercises, and readiness reporting  
• Maintains awareness of emerging threats and evaluates potential impacts to mission and operations 
• Collects, analyzes, and reports data related to mission assurance metrics and program performance 
• Participates in audits, inspections, and program reviews 

Required:

• Associate’s degree in Emergency Management, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field 
• 4-9 years of experience supporting mission assurance, risk management, continutiy of operations of related functions
• Understanding of DoD mission assurance principles, directives and frameworks 
• Familiarity with risk analysis, threat assessment, and mitigation strategies 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills  

Desired:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field 
• Experience supporting DoD or federal continuity, mission assurance, or critical infrastructure programs 
• Familiarity with DoD directives including DoDI 3020.26, 3020.45 and 5200.08 
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management, supply chain risk, and resilience engineering concepts 
• Experience supporting audits or inspections of from agencies such as DCMA or IG 
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) 

Clearance:

• Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

• DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
• CompTIA Security+ CE
