Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Field Service Manager to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the Field Service Technician team in supporting DAO SOUTHCOM IT operations, including training, transport services, troubleshooting, land mobile radio, SATCOM, and logistics services
• Leads in the management of warehouse operations and physical IT assets, tracking and storing equipment appropriately 
• Manages personnel security and coordinates compliance with USSOUTHCOM security policies and procedures 
• Oversees the coordination of deliveries and shipments via the U.S. Department of State (DoS) diplomatic pouch system 
• Leads the special event services and coordinates logistics for high-priority operations
• Provides country/location-specific services within the USSOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) 
• Coordinates physical security services for IT assets, security logs, and related infrastructure 
• Leads, supervises, and coordinates daily activates of field service teams supporting systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance 
• Develops field deployment plans, task schedules, logistics support, and mission readiness tracking
• Serves as the primary point of contact for field support operations and interface with government customers 
• Ensures all systems and services meet operational readiness and compliance standards 
• Provides hands-on technical expertise in the field when needed and resolves escalated issues  
• Maintains situational awareness of all deployed assets and enforces configuration management and tracking protocols 
• Mentors junior technicians and developing training materials to enhance team capability  
• Supports operational reporting, metrics tracking, and readiness updates for leaderships.   

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field 
• 10+ years of experience in IT field service or operations experience, including 3+ years in a leadership/management role 
• Strong background in systems deployment, maintenance, and field troubleshooting 
• Proven ability to manage teams in high-temp environments, including overseas, austere conditions 
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (>51%) to CONUS and OCONUS locations including austere environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to brief Government and contract stakeholders  

Desired:

• Master’s degree in related field 
• Experience managing service operations in a military government environment
• Familiarity with SATCOM, tactical networks, Desktop as a Service (DaaS), or ruggedized IT systems  
• Understanding of field logistics, supply chain tracking, and asset accountability systems 
• CompTIA Network+ certification
• Project Management Professional certification
• Lean Six Sigma certification

Clearance:

• Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

• DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
• CompTIA Security+ CE
