Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Portal Administrator - Journeyman to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the setup and configuration of the Portal according to its requirements 
  • Customizes forms, fields, workflows, and reports based on organizational needs
  • Manages user accounts, roles, and security groups, making sure users have appropriate system access
  • Oversees the management of permissions for accessing various modules and functionalities within the Portal
  • Leads the input, maintenance, and accuracy of data within the Portal, including asset records, work orders, and inventory 
  • Handles regular maintenance tasks, applies patches, and manages upgrades to keep the Portal software current and secure
  • Provides user training and ongoing support, resolving issues as they arise
  • Develops training materials, conducts sessions, and supports end-users 
  • Creates reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset management and maintenance activities
  • Monitors system performance, identifies issues, and applies optimizations to improve efficiency and functionality
  • Regularly backs up data and helps implement disaster recovery plans to reduce downtime in case of system failures
  • Adheres to relevant regulations and security standards, manages audits, and handles data privacy measures 
  • Provides elevated technical support for developed applications and coordinates the resolution of trouble tickets. Applies STIGs and updates accreditation packages as required       

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 4–9 years of experience administering enterprise portals or content management systems
  • Familiarity with portal platforms such as SharePoint (on-prem or Online), ServiceNow, or similar tools 
  • Understanding of web technologies, content lifecycle management, and access control models
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple site collections and libraries
  • Ability to support end-users and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences   

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal agency environments 
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or ITIL practices for service management
  • SharePoint Associate-level certification or equivalent
  • ITIL v4 Foundations certification or higher   

Clearance:

  • Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

  • DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
  • CompTIA Security+ CE

Location:

  • Doral, Florida

Travel:

  • Travel may be required based on operational requirements
