Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior J6 Knowledge Manager to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and integrates Warfighter Experience (WX) services to align with SCITES II TO objectives, identifying technology needs and interactions within the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE)
  • Prioritizes WX by assessing current and future capabilities for intuitiveness, performance, and resilience, contributing to mission success
  • Collects and extracts data using technical sensors and warfighter feedback to generate operational insights that drive proactive issue mitigation
  • Employs a data-driven approach to anticipate and prevent operational disruptions, leveraging incident trending to escalate degradations, outages, or systemic issues for higher-level review
  • Operationalizes telemetry data to inform leadership on service performance, presenting Courses of Action (COAs) for remediation when degradation is detected or anticipated
  • Develops recommendations to optimize WX services, enhancing value, usability, and warfighter satisfaction 
  • Aligns services with operational requirements, integrating proactive monitoring strategies to support mission-critical decision-making
  • Drives continuous awareness of the DAO SOUTHCOM warfighter environment, refining WX services to maximize operational effectiveness and mission alignment 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Knowledge Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in IT knowledge management or related roles within enterprise or government environments
  • Experience administering and governing knowledge bases in platforms like ServiceNow or SharePoint
  • Solid understanding of ITIL v4 processes and service delivery frameworks
  • Demonstrated leadership in knowledge capture taxonomy design, metadata management, and content lifecycle oversight
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills    

Desired:

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Experience integrating KM into configuration management, training, and operational readiness
  • Ability to support Agile/DevSecOps environments with continuous documentation practices
  • Experience with ServiceNow Knowledge Management Module
  • Familiarity with DoD KM Policy, NIST, or CMMC frameworks
  • Certified knowledge Manager or equivalent          

Clearance:

  • Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

  • DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
  • CompTIA Security+ CE
