Tyto Athene is searching for a Configuration Manager - Journeyman to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the development and integration of a comprehensive Configuration Management (CM) process to enhance the efficiency, interoperability, and resilience of the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE)
• Contributes to maintaining an authoritative, data-driven CM process that forms the foundation of EIE architecture, aligned with USSOUTHCOM strategies and mission objectives
• Supports the configuration management of an IT blueprint detailing the inputs, outputs, and interoperability conditions of the EIE
• Helps create and maintain an accurate service catalog, integrating cyber and data-informed capabilities to meet evolving requirements
• Collaborates with senior team members to uphold the integrity and effectiveness of the EIE, driving improved organizational performance     

Required:

• Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field
• Experience may substitute for formal education based on DoD guidelines
• 4-9 years of experience in Configuration Management or related IT/ engineering support role
• Working knowledge of CM methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with system lifecycle frameworks such as DoD Acquisition Lifecycle
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations team       

Desired:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business or related field
• Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps principles and tooling
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service delivery processes 
• Understanding of DoDAF and architecture alignment practices
• Experience supporting DoD of Federal government programs
• Working knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipeline, and automation tools
• Proficient in managing baselines for virtualized or cloud-based environments
• Certified International Configuration Manager
• Configuration Management Analyst
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger certification     

Clearance:

• Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

• DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
• CompTIA Security+ CE
