Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Property Manager to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Directs the tracking of property location, usage, and condition through asset management systems, while regularly updating inventories to meet government property regulations, including compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Leads the preparation and submission of required audit, inventory, and compliance reports, collaborating with compliance officers to address any discrepancies
  • Manages the acquisition and proper disposal or transfer of government property in optimal condition
  • Oversees maintenance schedules, repairs, and risk mitigation efforts to maintain property in optimal condition
  • Coordinates closely with project teams and deliverables manager group to align property management with project time-lines
  • Manages budgets for property acquisition, maintenance, and disposal, and seeks out cost effective strategies to maximize resource efficiency  

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
  • Experience may substitute for formal education based on DoD guidelines
  • 10+ years of experience leading asset accountability teams in federal contracting environment
  • Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS property clauses and DoD property management requirements
  • Experience leading asset accountability teams in federal contracting environment
  • Proficiency in property, systems such as DPAS, Maximo, Remedy or equivalent
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Desired:

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Strong understanding of FAR 52.245-1 and DoD property accountability requirements
  • Experience with asset management systems
  • Familiarity with DEMIL codes, DLA disposition Services, and equipment life-cycles
  • Proven ability to lead audits and implement corrective actions
  • Experience with classified equipment to deployable/expeditionary environments preferred
  • Certified Professional Property Administrator or Certified Property Manager
  • ITIL v4 Foundations or higher
  • DAU Property Management Training such as CLM031 or higher 

Clearance:

  • Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

  • DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
  • CompTIA Security+ CE
